Gillian-AI

Gillian-AI is the Technology Point of Presence for the Modern Age Ekklesia: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened (Matthew 7:7-8, KJV).

Gillian-AI User Guide

Learn how to choose a Gillian-AI workflow, provide source material, and request the desired result. (NOTE: A valid, paid OpenAI user account is required to use the full capabilities of this AI app.)

Getting Started

Gillian-AI is a Church of God custom generative AI app powered by a Large Language Model (LLM). The home screen provides four starter conversations. Choose the starter that matches the task, then provide the text, transcript, notes, question, or uploaded material needed for the request.

take-notes

What It Does

take-notes provides a focused workspace for sermon notes, Bible-study notes, teaching notes, Scripture references, and related material.

Start

Start take-notes mode with:

start --

Gillian-AI confirms that take-notes mode has started. Notes, transcript material, and Scripture references can then be entered.

Reserved Prefix

The double dash is the reserved prefix for take-notes operation:

--

When entered by itself, the prefix produces no commentary.

Request a Summary

After supplying notes, enter:

summary

A summary brings the supplied notes and Scripture references together into a concise result.

Scripture

Scripture can be requested while working with the notes by entering show followed by the Bible reference.

show Mat 20:18-22

Gillian-AI returns the requested Scripture passage with the conventional Bible citation.

Exit

End take-notes mode with:

exit --

Gillian-AI confirms that take-notes mode has exited.

Good Uses

vosk-process

What is Vosk?

Vosk is speech-recognition software that converts spoken audio into text. Gillian-AI's vosk-process works with the vosk output transcript text, cleaning punctuation, organizing paragraph breaks, and formatting Bible Scripture references for easier reading.

What It Does

vosk-process cleans up speech-to-text transcript material for reading and further work. It corrects punctuation, creates appropriate paragraph breaks, and formats Bible Scripture references in conventional citation form.

The workflow preserves the transcript material while improving its presentation. Use it when raw transcription output contains missing punctuation, continuous blocks of text, weak paragraph boundaries, or inconsistently formatted Scripture references.

Start

Enter:

Run vosk-process

Then provide the transcript:

Run vosk-process
[paste the vosk raw output text transcript]

What It Handles

Example Use

Run vosk-process
[paste raw sermon transcript]

The result is a cleaner, structured transcript suitable for reading, notes, editing, or later processing.

Good Uses

researcher

What It Does

researcher provides a focused starting point for research questions and source-based investigation.

Start

Activate researcher

Then state the research subject:

Activate researcher
Research: [subject or question]

Research from Supplied Material

Source material can be pasted or uploaded before asking the research question.

Activate researcher
Using the supplied material, research this question:
[question]

Good Uses

Use researcher when the goal involves investigating a subject, answering a research question, or working through supplied source material.

Distiller-15

What It Does

Distiller-15 condenses a supplied transcript or text while keeping the work within the language available in that source.

Use Distiller-15 when the source itself should govern the vocabulary and the goal is distillation rather than ordinary rewriting.

Distiller-15 compresses the source into its own structural backbone. It does not summarize, interpret, or add outside wording. It uses the transcript as the vocabulary source and extracts recurring language, bridge language, return language, clustered language, load-bearing sentences, a minimum sufficient transcript subset, and a fifteen-minute-or-less narrative.

Start

Activate Distiller-15

For a targeted distillation:

Active-Distiller 15

Active-Distiller 15 runs Distiller-15 with a defined output length or time target. Use it when a user wants a fixed-length distillation, a focused extraction set, or a constrained narrative from supplied text.

This mode keeps the source in control. It does not summarize, interpret, or add outside wording. The supplied text governs the vocabulary, and the requested word count or time target controls the size of the output.
